Yoga
I have been practicing yoga in a variety of forms for over 15 years. My personal yoga practice is one of the most consistent and supportive habits in my life. It marries breath work and meditation with grounding in the physical body. I believe in this practice with my whole heart - in the power it holds to yield stability and growth in all aspects of life.

In 2021, I completed my RYT 200 training, with a specialization in Yin, Restorative, and Yoga Nidra. I offer small, highly curated classes at ENSO Center to slow down and turn inward.
In the west, yoga is often touted as a means of physical fitness and flexibility, overly emphasizing yoga asana (the physical postures) at the expense of the 7 other limbs of yoga outlined in the Yoga Sutras. My classes center the spiritual tradition of yoga lineage and the integration of mind, body, spirit that this ancient practice instructs us in. Yoga practiced in this way can result in profound embodiment.
I also often integrate yoga principles into my 1:1 sessions with individuals when it feels helpful and appropriate, particularly when working with sleep disorders and chronic pain. My yoga classes provide a communal opportunity for individual clients to practice some of the somatic and embodiment tools we might be working on in real time.

I teach from a trauma-informed lens, emphasizing inclusion and accessibility for all bodies. Whether you are an absolute beginner or experienced yogi, you will find my classes and approach inviting and accessible. As we practice and rest together with our diverse bodies, experiences, and expressions, we can find radical healing and acceptance of our whole selves.
